Saturday August 21st

QPR 1

Wolves 1

G.Peacock S.Corica

For the fourth match in a row whilst QPR were in action I was again absent. This time I was my Uncles Wedding and along with my Dad, we almost missed the meal at the Hilton due to watching the results come in on Soccer Saturday in the Goldsmiths before being stuck in traffic all the way along the Uxbridge road for an hour.

As for the game, well Rangers conceded a poor goal when Corica ran through unmarked to slot home a simple goal. Rangers fought back well though and pulled level when Richard Langleys header found Gavin Peacock whose volley found the bottom left hand corner of the net.

Rangers had a few more chances to win the game but a point signals a good start to the season for Gerry Francis who has faced a difficult run of fixtures thus far.

Man of the Match: Gavin Peacock
