| Cardiff
won 3-2 on penalties |
Rangers started
unchanged from Saturday and started well with Kiwomya missing two
great chances. Cardiff rallied and got the goal they deserved after
Miklosko flapped a cross.
Instead of
getting down and fighting Rangers played without a care in the world
and the rest of this report may as well be left blank. It was the
same as much of last season absolutely rubbish.
Peacock ran
his bollocks off as did Gallen but for some reason Gallen was being
booed whilst Kiwomya stood around missing sitters and trying to
fight the number six. He was terrible. Gallen made one stray pass
and the crowd got on his back and he was taken off during extra
time.
Scully came
on for Breaker and was very poor. Rangers did have several chances
to win it though but Kiwomya and Breacker were guilty of missing
great chances whilst Langley and peacock were unlucky with two long-range
shots. Miklosko still had more to do making some good saves from
Brazier but we got a goal in extra time.
Kiwomya was
brought down and Peacock converted the penalty to become the only
QPR player to score in the first five games of a season. Instead
of going for it, Rangers sat back and paid the price when Cardiff
scored again from another Ludo fumble.
So it went
to Penalties at the Loft end, which I think, is a first. Peacock
had his saved low bottom left, , then they scored top right, Rowland
scored top right, then they scored, Baraclough was saved very well
then Ludo made a save to bottom left onto the bar.
Langley then
did one of the coolest pens I have seen to score in the bottom right
corner, before they scored again to put it all down to Kiwomya.
For anyone who saw his penalty against Palace then lets just say
it was just as bad. Rangers lost 3-2 on pens and deserved to go
out of the cup.

Match: Gavin Peacock
