For the second time in a week, QPR were in action whilst I was in Spain. This time the day wasn't quite as enjoyable for me as in Barcelona. For this was the last day of the holiday and I needed to check out of my room at 12pm before catching a coach to the airport at 1.30am.

So I had a whole day of waiting. Thrashing my girlfriend at pool several times moved the day along before watching Arsenal beat Derby on Sky. I have to say I was disgusted at Skys coverage of the Worthington Cup. I finally found out the score after watching highlights of Arsenal v Derby, Boro v Wimbledon and Sunderland v Derby twice.

Oh and I also had to sit through West Ham v Metz twice before any mention of QPR or any of the other Worthington Cup games. Luckily the resort was full of Welsh so the barman took great pleasure in shouting out during the second half, "Any Cardiff fans in here", when a big roar went up he laughed "QPR are beating you 2-1".

Richard Langley again impressed scoring with a brilliant overhead kick and an own goal sealed the win for Rangers.
