This being a midweek game I had no chance of getting to Gerry's first official game in charge. To make matters worse it was a Wednesday night game and Wednesday night is Student night at the local nightclub. £1.10 a pint is very tempting so I would miss the second half of the match. (Live and exclusive on Ceefax) I waited at a mates house (no ceefax there) to leave for the nightclub getting very drunk before News 24 told me the bad news. Another 2-0 defeat. Shit!! According to people who went we were unlucky but as I have said I wasn't there so I couldn't really make to many comments...but what was Lee Harper doing for the first goal? The nightclub was shit as well, as I had to wait half an hour to get served. Man of the Match: Danny Maddix
