Saturday October 31st

Swindon 3

QPR 1

M.Walters (2) M.Sheron
I.Onoura

A big game this for QPR and another poor result. I watched the game on Sports Saturday again and actually slept through most of it after a busy Friday night taking QPR to the European Cup final in Championship Manager.

Sheron gave us the lead with a header from a Kevin Gallen cross and everything looked rosy. A silly tackle by Karl Ready gave away a penalty, which Mark Walter converted.

In the second half Kevin Gallen missed a great chance to make it 2-1 but a sending off changed the game. Paul Murray was sent off for a second booking which looked a bit harsh on the TV but Peter Ndlouv was sent off for being kicked twice today so I suppose Murray had to go.

Swindon then got the killer goals through bad defending. Onoura and Walters making it a bad day for us QPR supporters. Ready had a goal disallowed at 2-1 which I still think was a fair goal but that's the way things go when you're down at the bottom.

Iain Dowie could face an FA Charge after his verbal attack on the referee after the match. Top Bloke! (He should have shoved him, I mean we don't need him for the next eleven games do we?)

Youngster Richard Langley came on as sub and impressed the QPR fans but not the manager. Gerry Francis was away scouting and left the running of the team to Ian Dowie.

Man of the Match: Paul Murray
