QPR gained another valuable point but it was more of case of two points dropped as Ludo Miklosko gifted Portsmouth with a share of the points. Rangers started brightly but lost two players through injury in the first half. Danny Maddix dislocated his shoulder whilst Matthew Rose suffered a knee injury. Tony Scully and Keith Rowland were brought into the game. Rangers took the lead in the second half. A long clearance by Ludo was met by Dowie who laid the ball wide for Gallen. Gallen's good work on the wing resulted in a cross which Dowie nodded down for Peacock to score. That goal should have been the winner but a terrible mistake by Miklosko gave Nightingale a simple chance to score. Miklosko made amends with some excellent saves but in the end a point was all QPR got. Man of the Match: Paul Murray
