Crystal Palace 1

QPR 1

S.Rodger R.Steiner

QPR bounced back from last weeks defeat with an encouraging performance against London rivals Crystal Palace. Antti Heinola and Kevin Gallen both went close early on and looked good in attack.

Rangers had two goals disallowed. One for a foul and one for offside but both were very strange decisions. Palace star Matt Jansen missed several chances to take the lead in an entertaining match.

Palace took the lead through Rodger after 61mins and should have gone further in front through Jansen.

QPR got back into the game with a Gavin Peacock corner being flicked on by Danny Maddix for on loan Rob Steiner to get his first goal for QPR. Steiner almost won it for Rangers with four mins left but a draw was a fair results and moves QPR closer to the 52 points target set by Gerry Francis.
