A disappointing end to the match but a decent result for QPR. Rangers welcomed back Paul Murray into the side but lost Richard Langley and Gavin Peacock through injuries in the first half. Ipswich had the better chances with Miklosko making some good saves and Sheron went close for QPR. QPR took the lead on 57 minutes when Mike Sheron set up Kevin Gallen who scored from an almost impossible angle. Miklosko then made several great saves from long range efforts and Steiner (on for Sheron) also went close. Ipswich went home with a point through an injury time goal after a goalmouth scramble.
