Saturday April 3rd

QPR 1

Huddersfield 1

I.Baraclough Lawson

Two points lost rather than a point gained in a dull game at Loftus Road. The first half was a total non event. Gallen and Peacock went close for Rangers whilst Wayne Allison went close for Huddersfield.

Matthew Rose was looking assured in defence but a clash of heads with Breacker saw him taken off for Karl Ready. Ready did OK but the team lacked composure at the back.

The second half began the same as the first, very dull but that changed when Peacock was brought down under a terrible tackle by the number six. (No idea of his name) Peacock was taken off and Baraclough curled an excellent free kick around the wall into the top corner for his first goal for the club.

Murray was unlucky not to add to that goal with Nico Vaesen making several good saves from long range efforts. Kevin Gallen was then replaced by Iain Dowie but this move backfired as Rangers sat back trying to hold onto to the one goal advantage.

Huddersfield then equalised after confusion at the back left Lawson free to tap home an equaliser Leon Jeanne was then brought on and Peacock went close from a Jeanne cross but another good save denied Rangers.

Rangers threw men forward but couldn't get the win they deserved despite a poor performance by many of the players.

Man of the Match: Kevin Gallen
