Saturday January 2nd
F. A. Cup Third Round

QPR 0

Huddersfield 1

  W.Allison

This report is courtesy of my dad who was at the game. This is due to me being back at University and the real audio on the official site gave me news of our win against Norwich!!!

QPR started well with Slade and Rose going close and Gallen had a blatant penalty appeal turned down after ten minutes. The game then died out for a while before my dad went to the bar and Huddersfield scored. No idea what the goal was like but Wayne Allison got it.

The second half was delayed due to a rain storm but Rangers fans remained entertained as Arnie the mascot was used as a target for iceballs being thrown at him and as the song `Blue flag up your arse` began, Arnie picked up the corner flag and acted out the song, if you get what I mean.

The second half was all Rangers, Dowie replaced Murray and we missed loads of chances. Kiwomya, Dowie and Rowland all missed easy chances. QPR had several other penalty appeals turned down due to a terrible referee.

Dowie then missed a sitter in the final moments . Huddersfield also hit the bar as did Karl Ready but it was all in vain as QPR made an early cup exit.
