For
the first time since September 1997, QPR won two games on the trot.
This match report again comes from my Dad who was at the game and
the various reports from the mailing list.
QPR took the
lead through Gallen, who made it two goals in two games. Peacock,
recalled for the injured Murray, set Gallen away and he looked up
and hit a 30 yard screamer into the top corner. I didn't believe
it was that far out until I saw the goal on Sky and it must have
been the best goal that Gallen has ever scored.
QPR had other
chances through Langley, Sheron and Gallen but didn't finish the
game until Sherons shot went through the keeper's hands and into
the net.
Rob Steiner
came on for Gallen, to make his debut and looked the sort of player
we need at the moment. QPR moved up to third bottom with a game
in hand just 12 points off the playoffs. Bolton had a few chances
but never really looked like scoring.
