Q.P.R. started the game brightly creating several chances.

Mike Sheron missed several of them including a sitter in the first minute. Gallen and Peacock also went close before Steve Yates was caught out in defence leaving Ade Akinbyi a free run, he laid the ball back for Tinnion to slot home past Lee Harper.

Akinbyi went close a few minutes later with a header then he had a goal disallowed as the same old problems reared their ugly head again.

The team were booed off at half time and showed no improvement in the second half.

Steve Slades introduction changed the game, his direct running created the opening for the equaliser in injury time.

Karl Ready curled a brilliant shot into the top corner to send the supporters home happier but not too convinced of the management's claim of going all out for promotion this season.
