Rangers first game of their Italian
tour saw another win for Neil Warnock's men and another goal for
Hogan Ephraim.
Equipe Romagna were a team made up of
players released from Italian sides at the end of last summer who
are yet to find a club. They do pre-season training and play friendlies
to put themselves in the shop window. The watching Gianni Paladini
must have been excited to see so many average players on a free
transfer.
Fitz Hall missed the game through injury
so Cerny started in goal with a back four of Leigterwood, Connolly,
Gorkss and Hill. The midfield three remained the same with Derry,
Faurlin and Buzsaky starring and up front Ephraim was joined by
Mackie and Josh Parker.
Hogan Ephraim opened the scoring on
a very hot night and Rangers struggled to break their opponents
down until the second half when substitute Leon Clarke came on and
scored twice from the outside right position before Josh Parker
continued his impressive pre season with a fourth goal.
