Well that was awful.

I made a late decision to go and really regret it now. That was my first taste of football under Paul Hart and as it turned out it was also my last taste of it. The plan to play long ball to Agyemang when you have Routledge, Buzsaky and Faurlin in midfield was just incredible and made for an awful spectacle.

This was my first live game since the Middlesbrough debacle and it says a lot about QPR at the moment that I've gone over a month without going to a game and never once missed it.

Rangers actually started brightly and had the better of the early stages but after early chances for Simpson the visitors got back in the game and took the lead. The goal came after poor marking by Borrowdale allowing Williamson acres of space to fire into the bottom corner.

Rangers struggled from here on playing far too direct and looking a shambles at the back as Ched Evans missed a sitter when clean through.
The fans began to turn on the manager again with cried to bring on Taarabt and when the on loan midfielder was finally stripped and ready to come on we went 2-0 down with more dire defending.

Sub Jamie Ward ran straight on with no one picking him up and his shot went through the body of Cerny. Taarabt then came on to replace man of the match Faurlin to a chorus of boos and a chant of you don't know what you're doing. It was a crazy decision and the players looked as stunned as the fans. We conceded a comical third goal from our own kick off with Richard Cresswell getting his third goal against us this season and the game looked well and truly over.

Rangers staged a late rally when Taarabt won a penalty which Buzsaky converted and the introduction of Antonio German was impressive as the youngster caused problems and twice went close to scoring. A Buzsaky free kick was headed in by Stewart in the last minute as we pushed for an equaliser but in the end we got what we deserved which was yet another cup exit.

The game reminded me of Holloways last home game when we lost 3-2 to Leicester. I could understand us playing direct under Ollie as we had less money to spend so he found a way of getting the best out of everyone but if anyone thinks the best style for this squad is long ball then they need to take a good long look at themselves.

On this evidence I don't think I'll be rushing back to Loftus Road anytime soon.
