Unfortunately due to lack of time this weekend I'm unable to write a match report of this game.

Here is a report from Adam on the QPR Mailing List

Seems to be quite quiet at the moment, so I'll start off. It was one of the most frustrating games I can remember watching. I see Holloway said that they were a physical team...Rubbish!

Danny Shittu is a physical player, they were dirty cheats, and if I were Olly, bearing in mind what happened at half time, I wouldn't have been so polite about a team/club I hope I never see again. How Mr Kinnear can say that our coaching staff tried to get their players sent off, I don't know. They were sent out of their
dressing room both before the game, and at half time, with full intent to injure out players, so they needed no help in getting sent off from our coaching staff....they were probably practicing it all week with their own mentors! It's a miracle that only Kevin Gallen was injured, and that is only stitches in the head.

This shouldn't take away from a serious lack of goal scoring ability in our team. There's no doubt we should have won, unfortunately if you don't bother the opposition keeper, then you generally don't end up scoring. Brett Angell looked OK, although I am not about to go and get his name on the back of my shirt.

Unfortunately Andy Thomson wasn't playing as an out and out striker (or wasn't doing it very well!), so we weren't really threatening. We need a goal scorer, and we haven't had one all season. Kevin Gallen was
scoring, but he wasn't playing as an out and out striker, so he was effectively playing in 2 positions as once!

When we were 2 men up, we were doing the correct thing. We played the ball around a lot, and looked for gaps, while trying the opposition out. Unfortunately we didn't have anyone who was aiming to do one thing, and that's to score.

I am starting to think/desperately hope, that we need the Cardiff game to come, as a game when we will be underdogs, and i think it may be the kick up the arse we need.

If anyone wants a good bet, Vauxhall Motors are on 11-1 to beat us, and a draw is at 5-1 (i think).

cheers
