Ian Holloway tried out several trialists again last night as we beat Hampton & Richmond 5-0.

Trialist Doudo Ebeli M'Bomo enhanced his chances of earning a contract with the first goal before Richard Pacquette scoring with a 30-yard scorcher.

Mark Perry grabbed the third with Stuart Wardley getting the fourth. Pacquette's effort was then surpassed by Karl Connolly four minutes from time. Connolly caught out the keeper with a superlative chip from the edge of the area to seal a comfortable victory against Leroy Griffiths' former club.

Unfortunately, Griffiths himself did not play as he picked up a slight knock prior to kick-off. The match was supposed to give us more clues as to Saturdays starting line up but Holloway instead took the opportunity to look at the trialists again and some young players such as Danny Murphy and Lyndon Duncan.
