Well for those of us who didn't
go to Preston I think we saw today what happened two weeks ago.
We started with the usual 3 at the back which soon became 5 before
becoming 7 within ten minutes Kulscar and Wardley were working
hard in midfield but we had nothing going forward and the complete
lack of creativity was embarrassing.
It took 15 minutes for an idiot
like me to work out what to do. Ainsworth was tearing Darlington
apart so a quick tactical change had to happen. Bring on Baraclough
for Wardley and push Darlington into midfield. Easy in hindsight
but that's what Gerry is being paid for and he just couldn't see
it. Ainsworth gave Darlington the run-around all game and his
crossing was superb and could have given them 3 or 4 goals before
they got the first.
We had a few chances, Wardley had
a shot saved but no one followed up for an easy tap in, Kiwomya
and Crouch both missed easy headers from corners. We had one tactic
that worked, a long kick from Ludo to Kiwomya, it was the only
way we looked dangerous apart from corners. Ready had a fair game
but gave away far to many free kicks as usual and one of them
gave them the first goal.
Crouch lost his man in the box and
Williams scored. Second half we almost got an early goal when
Crouch headed wide from a corner but should have scored. Some
pathetic defending saw them get a second before the usual tactical
genius of our leader.
As fights began to break out among
QPR fans betwen Francis Out and Francis is God camps he made a
change. Instead of bolstering the midfield or adding cover to
Darlington we did the usual throw on another forward and see what
happens. Ngonge may has well have stayed at home as Kiwomya and
Crouch were getting no service and an extra body up front didn't
change that.
If Connolly is not fit why is he
on the bench? Most of the team had given up by now, Another mistake
by Crouch gave them the fourth and without playing well Wimbledon
were soon 5-0 up. It was humiliating but fully deserved, the players
were pathetic but as usual were not helped by an idiot of a manager.
The new man has to teach this shower
of shit how to a) move off the ball at throw ins, b) cross a ball),
c) hold the ball up and support the forwards from midfield and
that's just for starters, We are absolutely shit at the moment.
Goodbye Queens Park Rangers, our
last chance of ever regaining our glory days are fading more and
more by the day.
