Q.P.R. 1 Bolton 1

M.Ngonge P.Frandsen

Am I the only one who is furious over the Bolton game game? Yes we played better but why oh why did Francis bring Dowie on. Firstly what message does this send to Leon Jeanne, Bertie Brayley and Richard Graham if they are not considered as good as dowie.

Why was he on the bench, well that we be Gerrys idea of picking strikers on how tall you over over abilty. When Bolton went three up front and Crouch got injured he should have brought Perry on, tightened up the defence and put connolly up front. But all we did was go 10 v 10 as Dowie gave away so many free kicks which gave them a chance.

We started the game well kicking towards the Loft and the pace of Ngonge and Crouch's akwardness was causing lots of problems. Bolton were poor and didn't manage one shot in the first half whilst Crouch and Ngonge both missed several good chances for us. After about 20 minutes Crouch was clean through and stumbled past the keeper but Banks handled outside the area and was off. It was hardly an advantage to us as the free kick was as poor as ever.

Second half we started slower and Morrow once again showed he is the worst player I have seen in years. A his blatant foul for what should have been a penalty was not given but we were due a bit of luck. Why not play Perry at center half instead of Morrow? Too small I guess. The goal followed from a Wardley cross and Ngonge rose to head home.

After that it was all Rangers as we played some decent stuff but again failed to create many chances and Wardley wasted out best chance when clean through. Bolton went to three up front and nicked a goal with their first shot of the game. Hendry flicked it through to Frandsen who took his chance well.

he performance should calm down the calls for Francis head but not from me. This match summed up why I want him to go and if he isn't sacked this week we are relegated and will never come back. Out throw ins, free kicks and corners are awful. The short corner does not work so why do we do it every week. Against ten men we did not have the ability to keep the ball and kill them off. Absolute rubbish and the worst thing about it all was that was the best we have played in months and the majority will be delighted with today.

Man of the Match : Karl Connolly
