QPR Sign Real Madrid Star

QPR have pulled off a hell of a coup by signing real Madrid starlet Daniel Parejo on a season long loan. Yes that's Real Madrid we're signing players from now rather than the Dog and Duck.

Parejo is rated as one of the brightest prospects in Spanish football and Rangers beat off competition from several top Spanish sides to get him. A deal worth £8million to buy him was discussed but in the player favoured a loan deal.

Parejo was also wanted by Arsenal so it just shows what a coup it is that he is going to be playing for QPR this season.

Parejo is a 19 year old central midfield player very much in the Fabregas/Iniesta mould of movement of the ball, always wanting the ball and looking to create.

A mouth watering prospect I'm sure you'll agree and QPR fans got a glimpse of him on Saturday when he scored the winner for Madrid in a friendly against Hamburg at Arsenal shown on Sky Sports.

He has spent his senior career to date playing for Real Madrid's B-side scoring one goal in four starts in 2006/07 and ten goals in 33 appearances last season. He has also been capped by Spain seven times at Under 19 level.

Parejo will be likely to make his debut for QPR against Barnsley next week but will take time to settle in a new country and a new style of football but his signing could push Rangers from one of several sides in with a playoff chance to a side capable of fulfilling the bookmakers favourites tag,
