Lee Cook Returns to QPR

After his year off at Fulham and Charlton Lee Cook has come home and joined on a season long loan deal from our West London neighbours.

Cook left QPR last summer and made himself a hero among QPR fans by handing back his £250,000 signing on fee to help the club out.

Almost as soon as Rangers got new owners Cook was linked with a move back and despite the player agreeing to join in January and again in March the move was thwarted by Fulham and he ended up at Charlton.

QPR fans sang Next year you'll be in blue and white to Cook and he will be back in the hoops possibly making his debut against Barnsley next week.

Cook will give us far better balance to the team and an option on the left we haven't had since he left. He is a player who can run with the ball and get crosses into the box which will delight Dexter Blackstock who looked like he missed him last season.

Rangers now have plenty of attacking options with Cook, Buzsaky, Ledesma, Alberti, Vine, Rowlands, Ephraim and Ainsworth and we could have more on the way.

Cook became signing number seven for the season just a day after Kaspar Gorkss finally joined from Blackpool. The big defender should do well for QPR and is the type of defender we have needed since Dan Shittu left two years ago.

Gorkss and Cook could be joined by two more faces next week. A press conference has been called for Monday to announce the arrival of Daniel Parejo who is joining on loan with a view to a club record £million move next summer. Ben Watson may also be on his way to QPR after another bid was made for the midfielder.

On the way out are Simon Walton who is expected to join Plymouth and the arrival of Watson could see Adam Bolder leave to join Sheffield Wednesday.

So after months of speculation it seems Rangers transfer dealing are coming to a head and we could well start the new season with nine new signings at the club.
