Adam Bolder became the second signing for John Gregory of the January transfer window. Bolder signed from Derby County for an undisclosed fee and he has signed a two and a half year contract.

Bolder is a combative midfield player who is also good on the ball.

Bolder made his debut in the 2-0 defeat against Barnsley but was hugely impressive on his home debut against Burnley. His good form continued as he became a real terrier in midfield winning the ball back for Rangers and never giving the opposition time on the ball. His performances played a big part in us staying up at the end of the season.

He was made club captain in July 2007 which at the time was a popular choice but he has rarely hit the heights of performances he showed during the first few months at QPR and has been in and out of the team since Luigi De Canio's arrival. Bolder has played a big part this season though scoring the winner at Charlton and grabbing his second goal for the club against Leicester City.

His time at the club looks to be over now though after he joined Sheffield Wednesday on loan in January but has been unable to secure a move away from Loftus Road since returning in May.
